TRANE CleanEffects ULTRA Efficiency Air Cleaner

Built a custom home last fall that I moved in to 12/28/11.  I wanted a Trane system again (which the builder's sub does not offer) due to reliability and the Clean Effects Air cleaner since I have allergies.  So after a less than perfect experience with another Trane dealer in PDX in 2006 when I replaced an old system; chose this company as they have done a good job servicing.  Mike the Sales Manager has the patience of a saint and everyone who works there is very pleasant and helpful.  They installed the variable two stage furance, heat pump, air cleaner, 3 cieling fans in bathrooms/laundry, the gas duciting for FP, tankless waterheater, and furance, and ducted the stove vent (went out of their way to build something since its very windy up here on prune hill and I did not want to hear the exterior flap all the time like my last home a mile away).  They have been great about coming back to adjust and tweak the system as I have a unique temperature preferance and work from home so need a super quite system (that I use 9 months of the year due to allergies).  Also very helpful with me finding a work around using portable heaters so I did not have to turn on the system during construction with all the dirt and fine millwork dust.  Really glad I chose them!.

  Communicating Comfort System

    I am writing to compliment you on having such a knowledgable, friendly & professional employee "Tim Taylor". We have worked with Tim close to six months now and have have often requested additional assistance, information and guidance regarding a multitude of items (many having nothing to do with his line of work) he was always willing to assist and help in any way he could.
    I was demanding and taxed his patience in selecting our heating / air conditioning equipment, but he never did respond in any way but being understanding and extremely patient with my lack of understanding & knowledge of the HVAC world.
    I wanted you to know how thankful we are that we chose AREA to install our system. We talked to reps. of three other companies but when Tim came out to talk to us we knew immediatly that AREA would be the company for us. Tim never let us down! He always did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, at the price he said it would be! My wife & I will always be willing to recommend AREA for anyone's Heating & Air Conditioning as a direct result of dealing with Tim Taylor!   IQ-Air Perfect 16

To whom it my concern;

I'm writing this letter to inform you of the great service that we received from Gene.
We started searching for for a home air purifying system because we are expecting twins. I had read that one cause of SIDS was due to bad air quality in the home. I came across the IQ-Air system and got in touch with your company as the local authorized dealer and installer.

Gene came out and explained the system to us in great detail. Needless to say, we were already sold on it before he even came out. We scheduled the installation date and could not wait for the system to be installed. The evening after the system was installed; we immediately noticed a difference in the air quality in our home. That night we both slept deeper. We also noticed less and less dust in our home. We have a house keeper that comes every Wednesday . Before the IQ-Air system was installed we would need to dust by Saturday. Now, we literally have no dust.

We would highly recomment the IQ-Air system to anyone who is looking for cleaner air, cleaner home, or even being able to sleep deeper and sleep better.

Other contractors that came out from other companies either were too slow and lackadaisical in estimating or were too agressive in their sales pitch.
We were very discouraged.
Then our neighbor told us to call Clark PUD which we did. They in turn gave us your company's name,  the only contractor certified with both Clark & Cowlitz PUD's.
Tom Dollemore came out and we were very pleased with him.
He told us about "zoning" which the other contractors never mentioned.

No options needed when it came time to re-install.
Had Area Heating & Cooling replace furnace water heater and AC. Did a great job. Explained new thermostat and overall did a tremendous job!!

I recently replaced my stove & vent. The guys that installed them did a terrible job attaching the duct to the outside blower. It was taped together, looked horrible and didn't work well.
Area Heating & Cooling came out and fixed the whole thing!!! Now the outside blower is nicely attached to the house & my stove works great!
Another heating & cooling company didn't want to even bid on it.
Tom Dollemore knows his stuff!

Recently your company installed a gas furnace at my home.

It would be easy to say that you did a good job and thanks.
It's not that easy.
From starting with our first phone call to your office to handing the payment check to Tom Dollemore every contact with your personnel has been outstanding. Derek Hylton and his assistant did the installation and from the beginning with the pressure test to shaking hands at the completion of the job all of their work was done very professionally and with great regard to our property.
I asked Derek if he did water heater replacement and when he said yes I told him I would ask for him when it came time to replace our water heater.

To sum it up we believe you did a excellent installation and look forward to doing business in the future.

I am very pleased with Area's service. 
Installation went well except for one thing - the location of the filters. Thay sent a technichian to correct it. I had to call several times with questions & every time I had a very good experience with a courteuos customer service. I just had a new thermostat with no hassle.

We had our Ductless Heat Pump installed in the spring of 2010 and so far we have been very happy with it.
It performs well to our expectations. The best thing though about our experience with Area Heating & Cooling was the
professionalism of the service. Appointments and promises were kept on time; all of our questions were answered; follow up was good.
In short we really felt as though we had been taken care of by a Company that valued it's integrity.

After Discovering our current Heat Pump needed to be replaced, we began the search for the right equipment and the right provider.
We were initially drawn to Area Heating for your good reputation but our decision was made once we discuussed your service
procedures and the TRANE product line with Tom Dollemore. Tom provided us with several options and he was very thorough and accommodating.

Once our we made our decision, the insallation team was scheduled very quickly and completed the work in a professional and thorough manner in
spite of the inclement weather. We apperciated the technical knowledge and patience with our requests and questions. The installation team also
did a great job through some of the inherent design flaws of our old system, including installing dampers after the initial project was complete.
We apperciate the level of detail Tom and the team brought to the project and the extra effort they made to get the comfort level perfect for us.

It is also worth noting that the communication and support from your office staff with scheduling, confirming appointments, and assisting with billing
was also excellent and contributed to our positive experience.

I just wanted to let your Company know how happy I was with the complete installation of my system and ductwork.

Your Company was a pleasure to work with. I was very pleased with your salesman and your helpful office staff.
They were very kind and cheerful to me even though I called many times.

Your Installation crew did a great job. They were always courteous, worked together and I didn't hear them complain.
They covered the floors, cleaned up the mess and left my house in tidy condition.

Corey was very patient with me when it came to the "dreaded thermostat". He explained it to me over and over and always with a kind smile.
He also explained how the ducts worked and why they had to do some changes. He must have done the job right because the house is pretty
even in temperature with only a few degrees difference in the back room.

the Heat Pump Installation is terrific and drywall work by Rick Kain is fabulous.
